Chloe was a cancer patient who attended the support group along with The Narrator In her last days she shared that no one would have sex with her, and said she had pornographic movies, lubricant, and amyl nitrate (a euphoria inducing drug), in a desperate attempt to "get laid" one last time before dying. It is unknown if she was successful.
The Narrator thought she "looked like the way Meryl Streep's skeleton would look if you made it smile and walk around a party being extra nice to everybody, but he told her she looked like a pirate". He compared her to a skeleton dipped in yellow wax.
It is implied by Marla Singer that she chose to end her own life sometime later.
